Make your own schedule. For the most part, you don't have to report to anyone on a daily basis - show up and lead your group. Meet people from around the world. Usually good cash tips.

Cons

Disconnected management team; management make decisions without much input from guides on the ground.

Cons

During the slow period, hardly none to any tours. Rain, snow, sleet, hail, we always give tours.

Pros

Well organized. Easy to keep track of scheduling and tasks. Nice online community communication tools.

Cons

This is a good company that used to pay well, but there has been no or few raises of pay over the past 5 or even 10 years, so it is now a company that pays the same or less than its competitors. It also has become much more corporate-like and less personable (I guess the price of success).
