The people. They were the heart and soul of Exertis. Hard working, loyal and would do anything for their customers and each other.
Cons
Where on Earth to begin? The fact that one of the major players in the tech distribution space has just announced that 1000 jobs are to be made redundant is heartbreaking. Those who have been in charge over the last 5 years+ really need to take a long, hard look in the mirror and take ownership of what you have done. Who made the decision to focus on DE&I initiatives rather than the bread and butter job of getting product out of the door to resellers?! When you're hosting 'Empower Her' events whilst vendors are pulling their business, who in board meetings was saying 'WTF?!' Bad decision after bad decision with SLT not listening to what was happening has led to the sad state of affairs we see now.
