Everyday is a race to maximize productivity. They make you publicly report productivity to your group. They don't want quality, just quantity. The "late nurses" are left to pick up the pieces after a busy case load day and might be online until 1am+ to clear the board (everyone has to be late nurse weekly). For larger cases Doctors can request an increase in pay- for QA nurses the productivity standard remains the same no matter what. They thrive on miscommunication- and will only address to tell you when you are doing something wrong.
