Pros
Most individual contributers are wonderful people. Senior leadership is decent and definitely good people. Great branding. You don't really need to work that much, maybe a 10-15 serious hours a week.
Cons
Poor middle management. Technical decisions are bad, Egos are everywhere. EIQ is very much a clique. You are either a part of it or you are not. Engineering practices are not good. Managers are fragile and are not very good at communicating. Surprise negative feedback is common. Managers will offload their failures and miscommunications onto their subordinates. If you join make sure you become best friends with your manager. Your work can be subpar/nonexistant as long as your manager likes you.
