Pros

Great discount on beautiful items. Making operational a visual standards universal, which is AWESOME. Great stepping stone for management. Wonderful customers. It's great to see how much you help someone, doing their least favorite thing. Heavily invested in role playing material and product knowledge.

Cons

The stepping stone thing, it's only to gain a title, but won't actually prepare you for what that title would mean in any other company. So beware if you think you can just go somewhere else with that same title. Erratic attempts at universal planning, which can mess with scheduling. Not enough guidance and trust given to core management within stores. Bonus structure for anyone not an assistant or above is laughable and patronizing. Base pay is equivalent to low end retailers that give a thousand times more leniency on self expression. Recruiting is grueling because of this and makes me think this company doesn't know it's competition in the labor world.

Pros

The pay was pretty good

Cons

The micromanage basically if you’re a manager they’re manage you so much that you might as well be a sales associate. They also don’t train you but have very high standards. That’s fine if you train. They will work you everyday. I came into a store that didn’t have a team and the one person that I do have quit. They told me well you have to work everyday and you can’t recruit online you rely on people coming in and asking about it. It overall is a pretty rough company to work for. They don’t care about work life management and I was only there about 9 months and 3 other stores had the entire team walk out. And my own dm expressed to me that I shouldn’t move up everyone is miserable in corp. soo that tells you enough.
