Pros

Cons

As a manager you have to use your personal email address set up and post jobs on Indeed in order to recruit for your location. Corporate provides no support in the area of recruiting. All types of labor laws are broken, if your store is not staffed, you will work open to close every day. There are times that you will work 30 or 40 days in a row with no days offs. As a manager you are required to close 3 days a week. There are so many black out times that you are unable to take your vacation and are forced to lose those earned hours. The district manager lies to cover herself, she regularly edits applications and has applicants revise their resume so that can get hired. Speaking of hiring... corporate requires a person to have several years of management experience just to be a key holder. They hire people out of desperation because upper management is so bad that many times an entire store team will walk out at one time. There is no microwave or refrigerator , no place to sit and take a break so if you are in the store working open to close you have no access to food or drink. If you take a 15 minute break you are not aloud to leave the store or upper management says you are stealing time from the company.

Pros

The pay was pretty good

Cons

The micromanage basically if you’re a manager they’re manage you so much that you might as well be a sales associate. They also don’t train you but have very high standards. That’s fine if you train. They will work you everyday. I came into a store that didn’t have a team and the one person that I do have quit. They told me well you have to work everyday and you can’t recruit online you rely on people coming in and asking about it. It overall is a pretty rough company to work for. They don’t care about work life management and I was only there about 9 months and 3 other stores had the entire team walk out. And my own dm expressed to me that I shouldn’t move up everyone is miserable in corp. soo that tells you enough.
