Pros

There are a few great team members left

Cons

From a business and morale perspective, EveryoneSocial seemed to be on a rocket ship ride a few years ago. There was great leadership in place, talented team members, and the team was exceeding revenue targets. While some might blame the demise of EveryoneSocial on the economy, the reality is that the CEO and CRO are poor leaders that made poor and brash decisions that heavily influenced a buggy product, confused customers, low morale, and 4 separate rounds of layoffs. Cameron Brain frequently refers to the company as a start up, but after 13 years of his constantly changing priorities, the business will never reach its potential. Leadership continually overpromises and under delivers on compensation and equity, product features, and frankly don’t listen to anyone but themselves. When problems arise, they are quick to point a finger rather than take accountability. Of those that are left, no one is excited or committed to the future of ES. There is a lack of job security and morale. Just trying to survive the recession and bring home a paycheck. For any prospective employee reading this - take your talents to a company that will appreciate them and make you feel safe, valued, listened to, and not overworked. This place is unfortunately not it. For any prospective customer reading this - consider a different employee advocacy tool. The team is now a skeleton crew that cannot support your long-term goals and needs and the amount of bugs in the product will have you spending all your time writing up support tickets that won’t get resolved.
