Pros

Free gym membership and discounted coffee

Cons

Poor pay, worse management! Absolute disgrace of a company, still treat staff as if there are no employment laws. Have to completely organise yourself in sense of holiday and shift management as managers don't follow any policy. Racism and sexism is rife throughout. I left this job to be unemployed and now am in a hugely better position; Everyone Active destroyed my mental health. It was the best decision I ever made!

Thank you for providing feedback . I am sorry to hear you had such a difficult time. Thank for bringing these issues to our attention. Mental Health and Wellbeing are vitally important and at Everyone Active we are continuously trying to improve and spread awareness of all aspects of this especially after the effect the pandemic has had on society and the workplace. We now provide mental health awareness training as a mandatory standard and a 24 hour confidential free counselling service called Care First for anyone who is struggling. I am glad that you did what was right for you and wish you all the best in the future.

Pros

Large company with options to relocate around the country, if you wanted to. Very good with health and safety procedures, majority of processes ready to be implemented.

Cons

Very sales driven. Targets, KPIs and profits are prioritised over colleagues and members. Sales team expected to give up personal time on end of month. You're expected to check and respond to emails when you're off or on annual leave. The company is very clique, you don't really progress unless you know someone in a senior role. Salary is always advertised as 'competitive' however, the pay doesn't justify the work you're required to do, or the extra time you work without pay. It's frown upon to claim for time worked outside of your contracted hours. There is no such thing as work life balance: you're expected to work day all the time and not be paid for it.
