Pros

Genuinely solid benefits like Joon health and wellness, unlimited PTO, flexible hours, fair salary.

Cons

It’s hard to even know where to begin because the issues are everywhere. The company history mentions the founder’s lifelong struggle with ADHD, and honestly, it shows in how the place is run. Leadership at the top is unqualified and wildly unprofessional. They act confident but have no idea what they're doing. They talk nonstop about wanting to hire “the best,” but what they really want is to you to do things their way or else, even if their way is unrealistic. Things that should take weeks or even months to do properly are expected to be finished in a matter of days, so good luck ever taking that unlimited PTO. People and whole teams are hired and fired so quickly that no one can keep track of who’s responsible for what. New ideas don’t stand a chance unless they’re copied from another company. There’s no trust in employees to think creatively or come up with better solutions. Anything original is either ignored or shut down. The company succeeds in spite of leadership, not because of it. Employees spend most of their time cleaning up after management’s bad decisions and somehow manage to keep things running but just barely. I could say more but you get the idea.

Pros

The product is really good

Cons

The culture is a major concern. Communication from leadership often crosses into unprofessional and disrespectful territory. Feedback is often delivered reactively rather than constructively, which creates a tense and uncomfortable working environment. The level of frustration internally across multiple teams is high, which significantly impacts morale and retention. Prospective employees should also be cautious about the hiring process itself. Turnover is a persistent issue. Multiple people have accepted roles here only to be let go or leave within weeks or a couple of months of joining. Even a senior executive was terminated just weeks after being brought on. Lastly, I’d encourage anyone reading reviews here to look critically at the timeline. A cluster of highly positive reviews appearing within the same day or a few days right after a wave of negative ones does not appear organic. It does not reflect the experience most employees are actually having, and it gives candidates a misleading picture of the company.
