Pros

A job opportunity for those who need it for their resume, but not for referrals

Cons

I initially joined the company as a contractor but was transitioned to a full-time employee within six months. Everything went smoothly until I experienced a medical issue that required time off. Upon returning to work, I noticed a significant shift in my supervisor's attitude. They began to question my competence and created obstacles that hindered my ability to succeed in a role I had previously performed well in. The situation escalated when I was placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) for a minor incident during a Zoom meeting where I briefly turned off my camera to blow my nose. Management then portrayed me as incapable of performing my job duties, citing my recent medical issue as a factor. I later discovered that my supervisor was collaborating with a relative in HR to facilitate my termination. This conflict of interest raises concerns about the fairness and objectivity of the process. Overall, my experience transformed from positive to negative following my medical leave, culminating in what I believe to be an unjust termination. Not for people of diverse backgrounds
