Pros
While minimal pay at $15/hour for oncoming junior analysts, ECS is a good stepping stone to obtain a security clearance and the experience to continue within careers related to defense contracting. Good supervisors and leads provide for an enjoyable work environment and team atmosphere.
Cons
The job becomes tedious after a while for underwhelming pay (unless promoted). Very much a revolving door--new analysts coming and going on a regular basis. Expansive and ever-changing ontologies to re-familiarize self with.
