As a contractor, the company pays me well and doesn't micromanage. I do my job and don't have to deal with excess nonsense that isn't directly related to my role. They have events, but there's no pressure to attend.
Cons
The benefits are non-existent. While they have a health and dental plan, it's cheaper to get more coverage on the marketplace. PTO beyond the mandatory sick leave would be nice.
