Pros
This week is my 4th week at Everest Engineering. As I am slowly meeting all the people behind this awesome company, it is made crystal clear to me why I joined them. Everest Engineering is a people-first organisation. Everyone here focuses on creating a human centric environment where our people (and clients) feel connected and supported. One of the most rewarding and inspiring thing I have seen so far is, you can see that people are empowered to thrive and be themselves without ever being judged (not to mention there are so many freaking awesomely talented geniuses here that I am excited to learn from!!). There is also this deep respect and acceptance of each others individualities imprinted on the company's DNA and you can really see that everyone is just working together so that we can continue to build this company that we are proud to be a part of and truly love working for!
Cons
As we are a remote-first company, we don't often have the in-person interaction so it does take a bit longer to form those social bonds. Personally this hasn't been an issue for me as I am used to this kind of environment, however, others who have not had the experience of working remotely often find this challenging.
