Micromanagement kills the vibe. Employees are treated like incompetent children. No room for personal initiatives. Employees are constantly being monitored, and you never know what action or word is going to get you in touble. There's a culture of spying on coworkers, encouraged by HR and management, which makes for an overall very negative work environnement, unfortunately.
