Pros

Free Treatments Convenient Locations Lots of Funding

Cons

The biggest con was I was terminated by Ever/Body after appx 5 weeks of training. The reason given was that they were not aware I had another job, poor performance, and bad feedback on my behavior at their centers. At Ever/Body all new hires go thru their university where you are given learning materials and hands on training using models. Each modality learned is then “signed” off by the trainers and then you are set to treat the public. You are paid for training and it's generally from 9-6 pm daily - it's a bit messy and unorganized. For this job I quit one of the part time jobs I had and began the program. Training is treated as if its their gift to you. We were told at the start the dollar amount of the training and how lucky we were to be given this opportunity. The CEO and the VP of Education come from Glamsquad but frankly I’m not sure how a makeup artist qualifies as a VP of Education….. They are all about inclusion and women run blah, blah. On paper they tick off a lot of boxes. The trainers seemed knowledgeable and I liked them however I found later that they pretty much lied to my face and or stabbed me in the back. I say this because during my termination phone call it was said that I wasn’t progressing but yet I was signed off by the trainers to treat clients and was added to the schedule, very confusing. At the centers the staff is nice but you can tell that most of the aestheticians are pretty green. The pay structure is hourly plus bonus but while I was there aestheticians were not allowed to receive tips and there is no commission. Oddly enough unlicensed Aesthetic Consultants are empowered to recommend treatments and products and they ARE given commission. Ultimately, I believe my termination was more about me. working for a celebrity esthetician who is pretty well known than anything else. When it happened I was shocked and heartbroken as I had worked so hard for this role. I showed up for my training eager to learn, I was helpful, PROGRESSING and liked by my peers. I’m not a young woman but I am a seasoned professional and I had something to offer. Being told that I was “misbehaving” at the centers and not meeting standards was nothing short of a lie. If working elsewhere was a conflict then terminating me would have been sufficient but instead they chose lies which I find disgusting. Simply put Ever/Body is a chain, they are fast fashion for the esthetic industry. Nothing special or unique is happening there. My message to management and the trainers is to find some integrity. Think more about leading with honesty and less about what you can inject in your face. I wish you nothing but the worst.

Pros

Some really great client facing stuff

Cons

This company has downsized and let go of so many good people. No one will ever know what they’re doing and this place is filled with fakes and fraudsters. Many under qualified people in positions of leadership who use nasty behavior to make up for what they lack in skill
