Pros

Glassdoor is forcing me to type something in here… Can’t think of one

Cons

My experience at Eventus was BY FAR the worst of my career. Management hides under the umbrella of “improving patient’s lives”, but in reality all they care is about their profits. The second you aren’t needed, they just get rid of you. I later learned that they are PRIVATE EQUITY backed so it all makes sense now. Don’t be fooled by the recent 5 star reviews. It’s mainly existing employees from their “leadership” team. This is a TRUE story: the new CEO (who is a physician trying to play CEO) recorded a video alongside his golden retriever pleading everybody at the company to give 5star reviews at Glassdoor, Google, etc… Ever since he has arrived the company has spiraled out of control and company morale is at its lowest point. Culture is cut-throat, silo’ed and flat out hostile. Everybody is looking after themselves. This company has a beautiful mission but with absolutely disastrous leadership and culture… very sad.

Pros

flexible schedule, gas card, insurance, patients are endearing to work with, very rewarding work

Cons

The facility assignments were not consistent in volume, making it difficult to make a living wage. The company took most of the medicare reimbursement and did not always value the contributions of the psychotherapist because the reimbursement levels were much lower than that of physical health payment codes. No real path for advancement.
