Pros

- There really aren't any pros to speak of.

Cons

- Minimum wage, zero hours contracts. They will happily give you no hours for 4 months of the year, but don't like if you have a second job to work. - No pay rises. No matter how long you're with the company do not expect a pay rise unless you're taking a promotion and even then it will be a token amount like 5p an hour. - Terrible working environment. Often EPT are contracted into locations you will never be working for the owners of the attraction you're in. This regularly means you get treated like dirt by the larger companies staff and the business just let it happen. - The owners generally couldn't care less about the staff. Most are seasonally employed and are treated about the same as a disposable razor.

Pros

you meet some amazing people, everyone is about the same age so it's really easy to make friends. working in attractions is lovely too, you learn so much about how things work behind the scenes.

Cons

it's easy to get burnt out. guests are often very rude which over time gets very draining. its minimum wage so you'll ask for more hours to earn more which burns you out in the long run, it's not a sustainable role. the company is very focused on money too meaning they really really push you to make sales even when a guest clearly doesn't want to which can be a bit embarrassing.
