Pros

There are still a few people left that care about the customers but they are few and far between. There is a lot of money to be made in incentives, if you don’t mind working 60+ hours a week. You can get travel discounts but it’s not more than you can get from a AAA membership.

Cons

The increase in profit margin is now more important for management than employee or customer satisfaction. They are trying to grow beyond what their antiquated technology can process. There is always some project in the works that will supposedly fix the booking engine but in the end, has sync issues or doesn’t connect right. They claim to be an employee first company that “cares” but provide zero support. There are entire departments that won’t even answer the phone. The outdated technology is a huge roadblock to meeting ridiculous demands for results. Any market or customer concerns raised are dismissed as excuses. That sets off the gaslighting and direct targeting until you break or get fired. They are moving as many roles as they can out of the country but leave sales in the US to appear to be an American company to the customer. This is another move to save money and appear successful.

Pros

Supportive culture with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. Fully remote environment offers flexibility. If you perform well, you’re trusted to do your job without micromanagement, and leadership gives you autonomy. Compensation is good if you bring in high sales.

Cons

Opportunities to switch departments exist, but there isn’t always a clearly defined path for career growth, you have to be proactive and advocate for your own advancement. Workload can fluctuate, with busy periods so it is important to understand how to prioritize and organize your day.
