Most of the management team have never worked anywhere else and are stuck in a mind set that worked for this company 5 years ago. Management is very rigid about arbitrary things and not focused on implementing changes that would make a difference. For example they are still counting calls for all of their sales teams; in a world where most business is done via email. The pay is very low for the amount of work required to keep up with customer demands.
