      Pros

      Expenses paid back quickly and accommodation and food arranged for when you have to go somewhere that isn’t a reasonable distance. Head Office team are absolute legends!!! Always a pleasure to speak to! Training and Audit teams are both lovely! Can never have a bad day when one of them rocks up at your branch! Mobile phones are now allowed to be used in branch. They changed the short process so it was no longer a case of paying it back. Get inspiration for a wide range of holidays. People are encouraged to want to progress. The new uniform is nice! Being a designated employee rep gives you a sense of positivity knowing that you can be vital in making important changes. They have a designated mental health team available for anyone to speak to.       Cons

      You get some customers that like to treat you like an imbecile because they think you just sit there counting money. Difficult to make plans for days off because unreliable staff cause you to get called in even if it’s known you had plans. Progression can end up being a very slow and painful process with a lot of empty promises and false hope. Successes can be overlooked because you may not have achieved as highly on the one thing they targeted you with on that day.

We do provide training on handling difficult customers - and I do hope that the many lovely customers we serve outweighed those who were more challenging! We have recently introduced a new bonus scheme which has been devised after taking the feedback we have received into consideration - and it seems to have been well received.
