Pros
I LOVE this job! I love it so much, that I left behind the career & passion I've had for my entire adult life - something I never intended to do. I thought I'd just do this here and there for a couple of weeks each time, returning to my life & career as I knew it, in between.
But soon, I fell in love.
This is that rare job when one's hard work is actually commensurate with one's income. Perhaps even rarer, is the culture of mutual support that they strive for. There is always someone a phone call away - whether it's management or one's fellow agents. AND the training is unparalleled.
The pros:
• Autonomy
• Hard work pays off
• Genuine support
• Travel opportunities
• Continual, priceless yet FREE training available
• Flexibility (you basically set your own schedule)
• Comraderie vs the usual competition
• Firsthand experience of 100% customer satisfaction with the product. Boy, do people LOVE this product! It just makes them happy. What's more rewarding than that?
Cons
Look, this work is not for the faint of heart, mind or body.
• Sales often means rejection - which can be tough of the soul.
• Also tough, can be the solo aspect when on the road.
• And lastly, it's physically grueling. It's 10 hrs or so, on your feet, vocally exhausting, & sometimes requires lifting considerably heavy things.
