Pros

Full-time work that does give some over time. Great hours, good food benefits and opportunity to be creative with cuisine.

Cons

Management does not listen to a word you say, will believe the client's word over yours without question and they expect more and more from you as you go on with no or little pay raise. They will expect, as you gain more experience, to add more and more to your work load and expect you to perform at a high level. Time off is difficult to get and scrutinized at when you request it, they fail to cross-train for different responsibilities (if you are hired for one role, you are the only one to do it and nobody is able to spot-fill in). They pay is very low to start, lower than the advertised wage.

Pros

Comprehensive benefits package. Work-life balance is improved. Above-average market salary offering

Cons

Poorly drafted union labor agreement. Outdated and poorly vetted recipes taken from the company recipe database called Webtrition. Top-level management for the account sits outside of California and and far away from the client.
