Pros

Opportunity to contribute and grow your experience working on large scale, incredible projects. You feel accomplished upon completion and (verbally) acknowledged for a job well done. Core team of employees are amazingly skilled, knowledgeable and great to work with.

Cons

Understaffed for the heat of the projects, need more contract/temp workers. Workload and hours are overwhelming and prime for burn out. No work/life balance. Don't recommend taking salaried (exempt) position as you will not be compensated adequately for the expected (consistent, excessive OT) time commitment. Owner is challenging to work with, often unnecessarily and impulsively interfering, delaying and derailing timelines and budgets without explanation or positive contributions, only to return to original plan with less time and higher cost to do it adding undue stress on staff. Financial management also is a huge issue with vendor payments months late, employees often being asked to incur costs on personal credit cards and not being reimbursed for months.

Pros

Most awful CEO which constantly bugging you. 6-7 days a week work, 10-12 hours a day. Rude CEO who is manager, art director, supervisor, human resourcer and etc, he doesn't trust anyone and he thinks he is the best and most intelligent person in the world. He lies a lot about his degrees and his background. But he does not have any art background also he loves Armenian obviously and being racist a lot. He fires people easily and talk so bad about them. He's mentally sick for sure. Here is my advise: DO NOT WORK AT ETHOS DESIGN OR ARCTICA STUDIO OR LOUNGE 211.

Cons

I was full time senior Architecture Artist at ethos design or Arctica studio or lounge 211. People working there they're nice but there is a CEO that made me quit. He makes people stressed out. He fight and argue with artist everyday. He expect you to work 80 hours a week. Yes I'm serious. He hires beautiful girls and fires them 1 week after. He is always about to fight physically with everyone. I'm regretted that I waste couple of months working with him to have hatred in my heart. Unfortunately us artists too nice to sue this kind of people. But he will get sued someday soon.
