Pros

ESI takes a lot of pride in providing employees with opportunities for both professional and personal growth. The company does a great job in putting employees in great positions to develop their professional skill sets to meet the demands of today's technology. ESI offers scholarship assistance for employees that want to learn more skills, as well as scholarships for the children of employees who are preparing for college. This company truly does care about its people.

Cons

Like with any company, some employees often must "wear multiple hats" to keep things on track. This, however, opens up opportunities to grow individual skill-sets and gain familiarity with new aspects of their departments.

Thank you for your review. We take pride in in our scholarship services and encourage all employees and their family members to pursue additional education and personal growth initiatives. Life at a small company means that often times you have to wear many hats and learn on the fly. This provides opportunity for personal and professional growth. To improve we must continually challenge ourselves and our processes. We are a tech company and things can change quickly. If you like learning new things then I think you will enjoy working with ESI and in the Telecommunications industry in general. Like any company we are always seeking new ways to foster communication at an individual and departmental level. Any ideas that foster improved communication are always welcome! George

Thank you for your review. We take pride in our long history in the industry as many of competitors have struggled to meet the demands of the Telecom space. You do not have to look far and deep to see the competitors that have disappeared over the past 31 years (Nortel, Toshiba, Executone, Comdial, Rolm, Tie, etc...). By my count there are at least 20 manufacturers that have come and gone or filed for bankruptcy. Over the past 31 years we have not spent a lot of money on marketing in the traditional sense. We work with a large network of experienced resellers and agents that are on the front lines doing the prospecting for new opportunities. We use our marketing $'s to try to support our partners efforts to succeed. As far as training goes. We do have internal discussions underway to improve our on boarding and training processes. Those processes start with proper documentation which is being updated as the business evolves. George
