Pros

The culture is wonderful - you never feel like a number here. Most everyone is very helpful. They are receptive to still working fully remote or hybrid. There is little pressure to return to the office full time, which creates great work life balance. There are groups to support equality regardless of ethnicity, abilities, orientation, etc. The leaders are strong in their expertise in their general areas.

Cons

The office products industry is declining and in general, any wholesale business operates on very slim margins, so they are very cost conscious and people are spread thin, wearing many hats. The different functional silos operate very efficiently within themselves, but have work to do to improve cross functional collaboration.

Pros

Some of the key positives of my role include a strong work-life balance, which allows me to maintain productivity while also managing personal responsibilities effectively. I benefit from having a supportive and knowledgeable manager who provides guidance, shares expertise, and fosters a positive working environment. The company’s benefits package is another significant advantage, offering solid support and overall value. Additionally, I genuinely enjoy working with my team—we collaborate well, support one another, and contribute to a positive and engaging workplace culture.

Cons

I cannot think of anything that I would consider negative.

Pros

Strong legacy company with experienced employees and solid industry knowledge. Good exposure to category management, supply chain, and private brand operations. Some teams are collaborative and supportive, with opportunities to learn across functions. Stable customer base and broad product assortment. Flexible work environment depending on department and manager.

Cons

Company culture has declined compared to previous years. Frequent organizational changes and shifting priorities create uncertainty. Employee morale and engagement are not as strong as they once were. Communication and leadership alignment could be improved.
