Pros
Great place to work, at least it used to be. Everyone in the I.T. department is adapting to a lot of changes, many of which don't make sense. Used to have great employee appreciation weeks, winter galas, people looked liked they were happy to be there. Different vibe with help desk, all the way up to the network and system admins.
Cons
I.T. department is going about implenting a change in culture in a counter productive manner. Cutting edge technology with bare bones staff to support. 2 week on call rotation that includes helpdesk level calls for network and system admins. All praise to EMR team for a couple hours of work, but little to no acknowledgment from management for the long hours put in during maintenances, break fix, and general after hours changes. Too many projects at one time. Unable to maintain a work life balance in order to keep projects timelines and the current technology operational.
