Good opportunity to learn. Brand Managers have many responsibilities and freedom to implement different strategies. Also, access to big data.
Cons
Lack of of a leader. All departments have the same power and there is not a clear defined strategy. Lack of transparency regards compensation, bonus, opportunities of career advancement. Workers that do similar jobs have different salaries, based on internal negotiations and politics.No follow-up of development. No 360º evaluations. Very competitive environment, no team work. Unclear job descriptions causes workers to blame other departments for failures.
