Pros

You get 1 meal included with every shift of 5+ hours.

Cons

1 caregiver to care for about 20 people of varying needs, this is an assisted living facility yet there are many residents that need to be in skilled nursing. No bonuses, they actually took away a bonus I had earned and I had to argue with them to get it back. The management sucks, no respect or appreciation for their workers. This is a hard job and will wear you down fast. No opportunities for overtime, when they ask you to work overtime they take the pay out of your PTO. Most of the staff lack compassion so do not treat the residents well. Also the residents pay upwards of $7000 a month to live there yet they only offer minimum wage. If you are reading this, apply elsewhere. If you are considering putting a family member here please explore other options like Ponte Palmero or Gold Country or in home caregivers.

Pros

It’s one of the better facilities that I have been to.I love the resident ratios, my whole partners, the cleanliness, and the fact that it has really great. Teamwork and management is pretty good and attentive to employees and issues that may arise.

Cons

I can’t really say I have anything negative to say about my job so far. I actually like coming to work.
