Doesn't Feel "Equal Opportunity" to Me - Anonymous employee ErieTec Employee Review

Pros

Great benefits, good quality products, excellent training on products, services and added value. Customer-centric and knowledgeable. Enjoyed my colleagues.

Cons

It was not a great place for me to grow. No matter what I tried, my ideas and plans were never quite supported. Despite a great work ethic, I was often made to feel inadequate. The company structure lends itself to micromanagement and overall negativity, with constant resistance to change. Tons of favoritism and overall inequalities, but I especially felt that I wasn't truly welcome there based on perceived "weaknesses" that fall under those protected equal opportunity categories.

Pros

Friendly/Family culture with a well-planned vision for significant growth. Well managed, good vision, great employees. The company does a fantastic job vetting potential employees, and not settling for those who do not meet our culture. They go above and beyond to support, respect, and compensate employees.

Cons

None. This is the best employer I have had the privilege to work for. This company restored my faith in business ethics.

Pros

Great place to work! Have held multiple challenging and rewarding positions. Great benefits and compensation package. Many long tenured co-workers that care about the company, customers and co-workers. Company going in a good direction that is leading to growth. Challenging and rewarding work helping customers with bearings, power transmission, material handling and motor control applications. My direct supervisor along with company ownership has shown over the years they cares deeply about me, my co-workers and the direction of the company.

Cons

As a smaller to mid sized company many employees are asked to wear multiple hats and multi-task at times. Not really a con, but more of an observation/reality in a work place.
