Pros
The team I work for is very independent, not much group collaboration. No one is micro managing you, and you have a lot of freedom to accomplish the tasks assigned. Good pay, relaxed dress code, and a friendly environment.
Cons
I work in Perl, with code that is sometimes a decade old. It is very hard to understand the old code and some of the better programmers in the company are always tied up paying attention to someone else that is more important.
