Ergos Technology

Is this your company?

Ergos is inefficient, unreliable and completely irresponsible. - Anonymous employee Ergos Technology Employee Review

Pros

Best bar in town. If the company spent half as much time and money on their infrastructure and clients as they did on their internal poker games and alcohol, they might be able to muster enough talent to install a printer.

Cons

No accountability and completely horizontal management structure. Working at Ergos has been the worst employment experience to date. Their cloud infrastructure constantly crashes and inter-department communication simply does not exist. If you want bottom dollar service, reliability and support- give Ergos a call.

Pros

Management mostly leaves you alone as long as you do your work. Hybrid work from home, but that is slowly getting gutted by a push to Return to Office initiatives.

Cons

25-30% lower wages than industry standard, Abuse of salaried employees with a 24x7 on-call rotation shift every month with zero compensation. I have been working here for 4 years without a review, bonus, cost of living raise. My salary is $30k less than industry standard, and $10k less than positions 3 levels below mine. We have lost 6 people in the last year in our division and the work they did gets piled onto those of us that are left, with no plans by management to replace the employees. Every time any of this is brought up, we are told we are in a "Wage and Hiring Freeze", meanwhile Ergos has bought at least 10+ MSP companies in the last two years to increase their client base because "Organic Growth" is overshadowed by greed. After the clients are acquired, the staff is gutted and the work is once again piled onto the remaining employees. Management absorbed a company with 20+ employees and 32 clients, then fired all but one employee, increasing our already unbearable workload, and we are given told we just have to deal with it.
