Brilliant people CEO has his ideas in the right place and right direction CEO talks about the culture the way it needs to be

Cons

No overtime pay (made to feel like you should work overtime) CEOs visions never get put into action (culture wise) No training/structured management Very cliquey at senior levels Will overwork juniors Managers that have got there through friendly promotions not merit/skill level

Pros

Genuinely some of the most helpful colleagues you could wish to work with A once decent social calendar (now deteriorated through budget constraints and profit grabbing) An element of creative freedom in how campaigns are executed Some real characters who have a passion for what they do

Cons

A complete lack of parity across departments in terms of employee treatment. Client Services being counter-productive in managing work-load / campaigns and thus not being fit for purpose (either top management doesn't see this or cannot be bothered to rectify it). Poor digital knowledge in a role that requires a real holistic understanding of all channels. Pay that does not match industry standards or reflect the level of commitment expected. They pay as little as possible for as long as possible. Rather than rewarding success and development they look at how they can keep your salary as low as possible. The rule of promotions and pay increases only at set 6 month intervals is not consistent across departments. They leave it too late to reward and thus lose the actual talent that delivers what the client values. Neglect of certain departments meaning morale is widely inconsistent across the business. Management that are in their position through who they know & how cheap they are, not what they know The favouring of internal promotion into board-level positions where department biases are perpetuated & subsequently nothing really changes.
