Pros

Culinary is excellent and affordable since you only pay for the cost of ingredients ($5 for a good lunch) and there are many avenues for professional growth. Epic training can be very helpful for getting to know both the health care and software industries. If you don't know how to code, they'll teach you. The campus itself is large, interesting, and beautifully maintained.

Cons

Folks don't stick around long typically. The median tenure at Epic is around 2 years and the median employee age is mid-20s for a reason. The phrase you hear around town is "churn and burn" regardless of your role. You will have to set very strict boundaries with your time, though this is playing with fire.
