Pros
Good annual salary. Food is great. Campus is beautiful. Bonuses and raises can be generous if you perform well. Most folks you work with on a regular basis are really friendly and a joy to work with.
Cons
- You make great pay annually, but you’ll work 45-60 hour weeks, most weeks, so the hourly wage isn’t that great. - Really bad parental leave - Only 6 days of sick time a year, regardless of tenure. You’ll need at least 6 for mental health days, (trust me) so you’ll have to cut into your 10-15 vacation days for additional sick time - Management will fire you for vocally disagreeing with their COVID-response plan. - No matter how hard you work or how long you’ve been with the company, you will always be replaceable with dozens of others. It’s impossible to feel any sense of job security.
