Pros

location near home town only pro save on gas

Cons

Managment shows no interest in their poeple and do not care to have any type of retention program. High turn over rate. They fire people like crazy. That should speak Volumes.

Pros

I enjoy working for a company that stands on its' own, and knows its' value. This is that company. I get the sense that everyone working here takes pride in what they do and what they represent at Enzymatics. People here treat interns like equals and pay them well, because they want them to stay. There's a fully stocked fridge for employees, PTO and other systems here don't have tons of 'red tape' as many would call it, unlike bigger corporations. I really feel at home here, because the people here in the Boulder office are so awesome, friendly, and talented.

Cons

The only challenge I feel is that we struggle to get the upper management to work with us on expenses for many different tools, which is understandable for a smaller company.

Pros

Bonuses and new PTO Policy

Cons

Enzymatics used to be a great place to work and gave you a sense of pride. Ever since a mass layoff, the environment and attitudes have changed dramatically. Upper Management does not mentor their employees and they would rather sit back and delegate their work to cover up their short comings. They set people up for failure. There are a lot of men in upper management and it's basically a "mans man" environment. There is no praise and recognition for people who work hard but they definitely point out when you do something wrong. The HR department does not have any "follow through" or professionalism. Even if you go with them with a problem, its not handled at all. The new CEO is a nice guy, and means well, but he is basically a "fill in" at this point. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians, for sure.
