Pros

Was fast in reviewing the cv

Cons

I recently went through an interview process at Enwave that raised several red flags regarding professionalism and hiring standards. The initial conversation was conducted via video, though the format and depth of the questions felt like it should have been a standard, objective phone screening. Having this as a video call—combined with the HR Business Partner appearing in casual sportswear (a jersey)—created an incredibly unprofessional environment. More concerningly, this format and the interviewer's approach felt like it left open significant room for EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) concerns and unconscious bias. The interviewer was entirely unprepared, lacked a proper command of English, and did not seem to understand the role itself. I had to actively drive the conversation and ask questions to keep the interview moving. Furthermore, they unprofessionally dropped internal details, stating the previous individual left in early January and that they just "need someone to fix their issues." Despite being highly qualified for the position, I was rejected the following week. The lack of standardized, professional vetting processes from HR makes it difficult for qualified candidates to be evaluated fairly.

Pros

I read the previous reviews of the company and I wanted to ensure that future employees have not drank from the poisoned well. Enwave is a good place to work. You have employees there that have a slew of experiences and want to help out the new guy. If you are hired, you gotta know how to collaborate with everyone. Yes, those people skills will come in handy at Enwave. Here are the Pros: The people are nice and helpful. There is Overtime. Modern Equipment and continuous improvement. Safety is taken seriously Great team.

Cons

If you don't like overtime, this is not for you. If you anti-social, this is not for you. You want only a 9-5 job, this is not for you. Some sites are Union, sometimes is a bad thing. There are old equipment still, so you have to go Flintstone sometimes. Communication is not the best
