Enviva will be entering a reduction-in-force due to poor planning and a top-heavy org structure. Many individuals have shared concerns with this in the past but nobody was listening. When announcing this layoff, the CEO said he was "excited" for what it would do for the company. Then he interrupted questions and said everyone needed to get back to work. This lack of concern for employee welfare is concerning. There is already no work life balance in this company - I can only imagine what the future looks like.
