Pros

Since joining Envision Horizons nearly a year ago, I’ve witnessed incredible growth, agility, and innovation across the company. Leadership genuinely values constructive feedback and takes action to improve—when I shared input around micromanagement and autonomy, they listened, adjusted, and I saw positive change quickly. It’s clear that leadership is invested in making Envision Horizons a great place to work and in supporting employees’ growth and success.

Cons

Being fully remote offers great flexibility but can sometimes make it harder to have those spontaneous “water cooler” conversations or casual in-person connections. That said, the company actively addresses this by hosting regular virtual team events and creating programs that encourage cross-department collaboration and connection.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review! We’re so glad to hear that you’ve noticed the growth and innovation happening across Envision Horizons, and we truly appreciate your feedback about leadership’s responsiveness. It’s wonderful to know that our efforts to listen, adapt, and continuously improve are making a positive difference. We also understand that working remotely can sometimes make it harder to have those spontaneous in-person moments. To help with that, we’re really excited to start testing our new hub cities monthly coworking days in the coming year! We hope these gatherings create even more opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams. Thank you for being such an engaged and valued member of the Envision Horizons team. We’re grateful to have you on this journey with us!

Pros

Ability to work at home

Cons

I had high hopes when joining this company, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing due to ongoing leadership and workplace culture issues. There is a clear pattern of abuse of power within management, where decisions often feel driven by control rather than collaboration or respect for employees. The work environment can be described as hostile at times, with communication frequently lacking professionalism and psychological safety. Employees are not always encouraged to share ideas or concerns, which creates a culture of tension rather than teamwork. Additionally, there is a heavy level of micromanagement that makes it difficult to work efficiently or feel trusted in your role. Instead of empowering employees, leadership tends to over-monitor and second-guess even routine tasks. One of the most challenging aspects is the leadership style of the CTO, who is often short-tempered and reactive. This creates unnecessary stress and can make day-to-day interactions unpredictable and uncomfortable. Overall, the company would benefit greatly from improvements in leadership approach, communication, and fostering a more respectful and supportive work environment. Until those changes are made, it may be a difficult place for many professionals to thrive.
