Pros
EDS is a great place to begin a career in. The quality and quantity of projects is great. The management shows faith in the employees. The work atmosphere is casual, and people are warm. Offers flexibility to work from home. Office located in South Delhi and is well connected by public transport. Diverse portfolio that includes green building certification, energy analysis, high performance building design advisory, policy research and framework development, ESG, GHG accounting.
Cons
Underwhelming on-boarding process. (read non-existent). Very poor communication between the management and employees and lack of formal policies in place. Salaries are just okay, and can definitely be better. I am not sure about the increments and bonuses. No incentives to the employees. I don't see much scope for personal and professional development on a long run. High volume of projects and insufficient manpower can overload the employees at times. (most times, these days). Indoor environmental quality of the Delhi office (it's in the basement) is terrible. Lacks thermal comfort, visual comfort and air quality is very poor. Employees' efficiency drops by at least 50% by the lunch hour.
