      - high pay (bonuses, 10% commission) - lots of hours - cool coworkers - get your steps in

      Cons

      - long hours (10am-10pm) - if you don't meet quota, you get fired - cutthroat job - no one really understands where all the fundraiser money really goes (pyramid scheme?) - walking in hot weather - basically a sales job except you are selling nothing

      Enjoyed working with a diverse group of people. Enjoyed engaging with the community to talk about public policy.

      Cons

      Had to meet weekly quotas and had to get used to rejection at the door a lot. High turnover rate for field canvassers.
