Pros

You will feel great when you first start working here

Cons

- pay in peanuts. - play favorites. - fail to promote from within. - zero sense of respect for majority of departments. - mismanagement at all levels. - only short term solutions are considered and management fails to see big picture. - interns are basically relatives of higher management. - they will say they respect all employees but that is a lie, only few who either steal credits or stamp their names here and there get recognized. - different rules for different people, which is just unethical. - you will be left alone with minimal to no resources to complete tasks. - hardwork is just not recognized and (honest) current employees will agree with that.

Pros

EA to ales great care to hire smart people who come from a diverse range of backgrounds and life stages. This is a big reason why I love the company. It’s not like some places that are filled with a homogenous cohort of people like millennial or baby boomers etc. This diversity sets the environment for creativity, collaboration and open-mindedness. Employees tend to be down to earth and humble; egos are checked at the door. In a company filled with smart people you are not better than the person you’re sitting next to.

Cons

Because of EA’s meteoric growth over the past few years, organizational processes have not adapted as quickly. This can be seen right through the company from upper management right down to department heads. They continue to have a ‘small-company’ mentality which is taking some time to break out of.
