Pros

First off I would like to say that DI, now Enverus, was a great place to work for many years. And to this day I’m still thankful for the opportunity that was afforded to me to make a great living and provide for my family. The employees are great, the overall culture was fun, and the product is a salesman’s dream (disruptive technology that provides tremendous value to customers and is always improving).

Cons

Sales Leadership is a disaster. It starts at the top, and permeates all the way down through middle management. There is a boys club “bro culture” that could cost the organization a lot of money down the road in lawsuits.

Glassdoor has proven to be a great venue to hear responses from people that may have had a frustrating experience and for that I am grateful. We can certainly learn from the input we receive. However, we have found that it may also be a place where inaccuracies exist largely due to the personal sentiments and perspectives of our people. They skew one way or the other. The leadership team at Enverus is a group with backgrounds that are broad and very impactful for our employees and customers. It’s unfortunate that your experience at Enverus did not include connecting with people that make our company special. Customers and employees alike love our company. Our NPS and employee engagement scores are very strong and are near world class benchmarks. So for those people looking at Enverus, we only ask that you look at all of our review and then make your own opinion. We are a great fit for many and not a fit for all. We’re not perfect but we’re always trying and even with this unfortunate review, we will look for things that can make us better and we will continue to build upon the things that make Enverus a great place to work.

Pros

I spent over a decade at Enverus and had the opportunity to grow across multiple business units during a time of major expansion. I was trusted with significant responsibilities, supported by strong mentors, and able to contribute meaningfully to several operations initiatives. For many years, the culture was collaborative, innovative, and truly people-focused. Enverus was a great place to build a long-term career, especially if you enjoy fast-paced environments and continuous change.

Cons

The company has grown quickly, and the culture has shifted as a result. After a reorganization in July, several business units - particularly those connected to the RS Energy acquisition - operate with a strong internal loyalty that can feel difficult to integrate into. In my final few months, I experienced heavy micromanagement, which created unnecessary stress and made it challenging to perform at my best. Additionally, as AI initiatives accelerate, many roles are changing or being reduced, and the human side of the organization feels less prioritized than it once was. The company is ambitious and expanding, but at times it feels like it’s becoming too large to maintain the people-first culture it was once known for.
