Pros

I will try to really be objective in my pros and cons for the position, but please understand when I say that this is going to be extremely difficult. - I have come to form some of the strongest friendships while I've been working here. It's always been a treat to see everyone and hopefully things will go back that way. I'm tired of just seeing everybody on a screen. - You get to meet a plethora of people from all over the country as you perform trainings with them and their team. It's always a treat to expand your network and understand the world of property management. - I believe our array of products are innovative! There's an intrinsic value in seeing the things we train actually have a changing impact on the clients we deal with. - I believe our former president and COO Chase is an excellent leader! In all the meetings I've been with him he's someone that cares about the company and the future it holds.

Cons

Okay, deep breath. A lot of my feedback center around management and the culture particularly in the training department. I've been here for a hot minute and I feel like I've been in the game long enough to notice some trends. - Culture. There has been a lot of talk about toxic positivity and this department can't get a better description. We have had a high turnover of PTMs leaving our team and the main reason? They don't feel valued, listened to, and managed. We are so overworked! While we are drowning in work, our director and assistant directors have simply told us that we just need to have a better attitude (really?). Not to mention the constant talking down to in our department-wide meetings where our "leaders" are telling us how to train but never really showing us how to do it! It's so frustrating! It's like I can never catch a break. Example: we have Basecamp ( a training convention) coming up and 2 of our employees have already left. So what happens? We get added responsibility to pick up their work. When I asked in my one-on-one if we could possibly get a raise just for all the extra responsibilities we've been having to pick up (which have been for almost 3-4 months now), their simple response was that it's part of having a full-time job. - I am a bit scared to approach HR for a lot reasons (fear of losing my job, managers finding out who I am in leaving this review, etc.), but there aren't enough fingers to count how many sexist and inappropriate comments are made in our department. One of our leaders recently got promoted and he has been the cause of so much discomfort. Constantly talking about gender roles and inappropriate comments regarding race are just to name a few. It's hard trusting in people who you've seen be the opposite of the Joneses. I feel pigeon-holed and stuck in a position where I feel like I'm worthless. If you are applying at Entrata, please consider going into another department. I think you will have a much more enjoyable experience. The management in training is just...bad. They will never have your back and will throw you under the bus just to get ahead. I don't want this to be the exact words of other employees, but the sentiments are very similar. Please consider reorganizing the leadership. - A disgruntled employee.
