Pros

Exciting environment with almost full in-house manufacturing. Able to work with device-level software (C, RTOS embedded software), and Windows .NET WPF framework for desktop-only software. Little to no corporate bureaucracy, so ideas become projects which become tangible products and software in as little as 1 - 3 months. If you love science and chemistry this is the place for you. Work hours are very reasonable and only occasional late night work and overtime required for important projects.

Cons

As a smaller company, requirements change fast, so it can be frustrating to have a feature removed/added at the last second. Also, time tables are very liquid and some projects can be put on hold at the drop of a hat or become a last-second priority with no warning.

Pros

Snacks on Friday. Extremely easy work - you won’t be engineering you’ll be CAD detailing

Cons

Awful management leading to missed deadlines, unclear expectations and rude interactions. Leaders don’t know how to lead. Management gives engineering advice while not being an actual engineer. No room for growth. Micro-management all the way down to the nuts and bolts. No freedom. Also the kind of company that lays people off the day before Thanksgiving. Your ideas won’t mean anything and your intelligence will be insulted if you suggest anything different.
