If you have other options go there. I had been working remotely for 2 and half years before coming here. It was hard to find a good remote company. I thought I found it with Ensemble health partners. Unfortunately it’s an overwhelming work environment. A lot of toxic positivity. I was under the impression that training was 90 days, and it wasn’t. It was about 14 days, then I was thrusted onto the phones and still unsure of rules and regulations for the job. Also the dynamic of white women being in leadership and almost all of the lower tier employees are black women, I did not like the optics of that. I have a master’s degree from a prestigious private university. I have two years of experience working remotely in healthcare tech and I’m sure growth opportunities would’ve came but this role wasn’t for me. If you can handle back to back calls with no breathing room or downtime this place can work for you. If not, I’d suggest going somewhere else as soon as you possibly can. Also they do not give laptops. We have huge tower computers, with dual monitors and so much more equipment. We can’t work comfortably off a laptop because of HIPPA violations. We have to be hardwired in, and we can not leave our desk except for 30 min lunch and scheduled 10 minute breaks. If they weren’t overwhelming us the whole 8 hours it would be doable but there’s no breathing time.
