Pros

+ Free lunches on major holidays, or employee appreciation +Equipment was fairly modern. + Busy during March to May + Got to meet a lot Spanish speaking people + Employee Break Rooms & Bathrooms are ok.

Cons

+ Operations management style is very lax. When you lodge a complaint against one of the employees they immediately get defensive and escalate it to GM. + Operations management is clumsy in organization, they usually don't communicate well with employees. + The new employees that come in the company always run out the door. It was a revolving door for operations people for 6 years. + Hiring convicts without doing background check and then having the same person flip out on employees is demoralizing. Lack of management. + Favoritism is rampant in this company. Employees in the Receiving and operations are well connected in Sales Dept. Promoting an employee who treats others like crap is a downright means to quit. +If you're in operations plan to stay at least 20 years with out getting promoted in the same position.

Pros

Cost of living raise every 6 months.

Cons

Very few days off. Even though the operations were on a large scale the number of employees was very low.

Pros

40 hr + 2 hrs overtime a week 1 hr lunch breaks and a 20 minute break Vending machines, and water Good IT support. Easy to learn shipping. Fast paced. employee lunches from end of the month to holidays. Employees are easy to communicate and work with.

Cons

Constant system outages Equipment Malfunctions ie; scanner, printer, paper machine jams Management: extremely slow in decision making, IT support unresponsive at busy times in effective communication between management and employees Employees not wearing masks during pandemic, getting sick in 2020 half the staff tested positive for covid 19. Scheduling PTO is not effective, must be made at the request of management available day is already taken. Managagement needs to be more proactive in dealing with employees that are idle and not productive in warehouse; ie when it is slow assign tasks until all employees are busy. Order pickers make mistakes all the time, nothing was done to correct the errors. HR and management should re-evaluate harassments policies or complaints raised by other employees toward others. Should have balanced approach.
