Pros
I had many lovely colleagues there.
Cons
A days at EA involves; -Training your under qualified manager, -Watching the business run in a persistently incompetent fashion, -Endless meetings where buzzwords are thrown around flippantly. -Looking forward to the regular that Fridays leaving do/party of a colleague. Management is inherently political, comfortable in the knowledge that there is negligible market competition, and that if all else fails the parent company will bail them out. Individual managers attempt to turn every market event into personal gain. Due to the upper management continually appointing friends into middle/lower management, the company is run almost completely by anglo-saxon males, with the only notable exception the MD. The unspoken retention policy is, check if AGL is hiring in that position, if not - do nothing. Collusion between HR and Management regarding internal 'incidents' can be described as dishonest at very best
