Pros
Sales team is eager and driving the success of the business.
Cons
The firm's culture is toxic and cult-like. If you are not a ~25-year-old frat bro, you will not fit in, nor will you be successful. There is no acceptance or encouragement of diverse thinking, ideas or working styles. It is a one-size-fits-all environment. 'Conform or get out' is the underlying message subtly shared internally - and the frequent firings and highly unethical HR practices show this. Work-life balance is nonexistent, sales staff is treated as entirely replaceable, executives are micro-managed like children, women are referred to as "chicks" and gossip is rampant, further contributing to a toxic culture. The leadership team is largely inexperienced. Despite the illusion of the tenured CEO running the show, the CEO's 26 year old son (COO) has unfortunately been given the reins. 'COO' is an inappropriate term, as he is extremely inexperienced, bringing no business strategy experience nor any relevant experience to the table. Although well-meaning, his inexperience precedes him. It is as though he has read business management books and regurgitated any and all tactics onto the team, seeing which will stick, with no strategy or relevance whatsoever. The COO alone makes the working environment extremely difficult.
