Pros

Good benefits such as Woolworths discounts. Opportunities for advancement into other areas of Woolworths.

Cons

Long hours for little reward. Management appeared to favour the hierarchy and command control structure over listening to team members. Human Resources weren't useful and appeared more interested in protecting management. Conflicts of interest appeared to be ignored. While team members were often promoted into more senior roles, there re didn't appear to be any upskilling to ensure they could competently complete their role.

Pros

Was 5 days flexible Work from anywhere policy until they changed it this year. Travel to Melbourne and Sydney vice versa encouraged as part of learning the business and collaboration. Competitive salary packages, great people and teams.

Cons

Restructures when business is not booming. Large matrix organisation creates chaos and inefficiencies and a lot of office politics. Senior managers already pigeon hole you into particular areas.
