Pros

Great people and great clients.

Cons

Being delivered information with a smoke screen to hide the real truths. They do not fully want to be truthful, fair and forthcoming with information.

Pros

The onboarding process was very thorough, structured and well communicated from the beginning. The initial online training combined with buddy shifts in SIL was genuinely valuable and made starting in the industry feel far less overwhelming. The organisation also seems to genuinely value internal development and long term career progression, which is reassuring when entering the community services sector. Staff were approachable and willing to answer questions, and there was a strong focus on participant dignity, safeguarding and documentation standards.

Cons

Like any organisation working within disability support and government-funded systems, there can be bureaucracy, multiple platforms/systems to learn, and naturally complex situations involving participants. However, the training and support provided felt well aligned with preparing staff for those realities.

Pros

Salary packaging and some of the people left

Cons

The team used to be strong and focused, working well together. Since the new HoM started, things have gotten worse and morale has dropped. It seems like the HoM is trying to do everyone’s jobs except their own (maybe relying too much on AI?). Because of this, they are not managing the team at all or showing much care. Several people have complained, but nothing has been done. This makes it seem like the company doesn’t care either. They are losing good employees and prefer spending money on recruitment rather than keeping their current staff. If I were you, I would stay away.
